Just completed a multi-generational family vacation at Honu La'e. We found the condition of the home accurate with the photos shown, everything was very clean and updated. Our family really enjoyed the well stocked garage of beach items (chairs, snorkels, boogie boards, water shoes, towels, cooler, etc). We would load our car and do the short drive to Poipu / Brennake's beach most days. We enjoyed having two washer/dryers as well as the additional refrigerator in the garage. We used the grill as well as the oven/stove and everything was in working order. Be aware that the cottage is attached but very separate in terms of entrance (would have to walk out through garage to access cottage). It worked out fine for our family but possibly wouldn't want to have that as a space for young kids to stay without parents. In addition, the quality of the pull out couch in cottage is probably good only for small kids as the mattress is very thin. We found the AC unit able to keep up and keep everyone cool enough. We received prompt help from the property manager when we had a sink in the cottage that wasn't draining. This is a great location convenient to several luxury shopping/dining destinations and the area beaches. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

We rented this property for an multigenerational family, which included an infant and a toddler. The cottage, accommodated the infants, Family, quite well as it has its own little kitchenette. The toddler’s family was in the master suite which allowed for napping without distractions. There are multiple appliances, which also makes it nice for a large family. Two sets of washers and dryer’s, one in the master suite, and one in the garage. In the kitchen, which is very well stocked and great for, many cooks, there are two microwaves and two dishwashers. We had some issue with the AC, and the maintenance staff brought in small air-conditioning units for all the rooms. The lanai is big and seats your entire group. It looks across the street to the ocean and you’ll see spectacular sunsets. Poipu Beach is less than five minutes away by car and the property provides lots of beach gear, including at least 10 beach chairs. Overall, a very well appointed home that works well for large families.

Great time at Honu La'e, my team really enjoyed the house. Some feedback - the knives need to be replaced they are really dull. One chair in dining room needs repair, the leg is loose. Towel rack in cottage bath needs repair, hanging on by a thread. Other than that, all good!

I rented this home for my extended family. The home exceed all expectations for quality, convenience and atmosphere. My family includes my 4 adult children 2 spouses, 3 grandchildren, myself and my husband. The home provided perfect privacy for all individuals as well as an atmosphere of comfort and quality. As an interior designer, and having an architect on board, we were amazed at the attention to detail in all the construction and decor. It also provided us with the amenities we would expect for a large family, such as 2 dishwashers, a huge commercial grade range, and two sets of laundry facilities. The home was immaculate, with the small exception of tiny gnats collected in the master bath tub, that either were missed by the cleaning crew, or had quickly accumulated due to their size, providing easy access through the screens. The separate HVAC zones helped us all to be comfortable. The lanai and swimming pool provided an excellent gathering space for us all. The owners were contacted only once for an unusual situation concerning a stray cat that wandered onto the property. They were extremely helpful and attentive to the situation. Great hosts! Only two comments for future consideration; the lock for the main house front door was a bit confusing and tricky to use; we also were a bit frustrated that it was not possible to leave it unlocked while we were outside on the property. The door would always swing open when left ajar, preventing us from using the air conditioning while outside. Small thing, but perhaps locks and the door balance may be adjusted. Also, it was easy to confuse which club property was included for use, due to the proximity of the club behind the property- even using the same access! This should be emphasized to future renters. All in all, it was a fabulous property and I recommend it highly!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Poipu 365 the first week in August. It was a long delayed family vacation. The property was exactly as described, the kitchen was huge and had everything any chef could ask for. Dishes, pots and pans, everything was plentiful. When we arrived the place was **** and span and very well kept. There were beach chairs, water toys, umbrellas, a stroller, anything we needed in the garage. A couple of high points is the private pool and the gorgeous huge Lanai overlooking the water. The beautiful sunset from sitting on our Lanai was breathtaking. There were no issues at all with the house, so there was no need to contact the manager. I highly recommend this gorgeous spacious property to any family and remember, there is also a guest house with a kitchenette, 2 washers and dryers, shower outside to avoid bringing sand inside. This was truly a trip we will never forget. I highly recommend renting this home. Thank you

This home was perfect for our family vacation. Fantastic gathering areas (Living room, kitchen, dining, lanai) for our whole family to hang out together, and then space where our 3 mini families could retreat for quiet times (when needed). Amazing views of sunset every night, and loved that across the street from the home was a gathering place for all to come see the beauty of the sunsets - people gathered about 20 mins before, then left shortly after (locals and visitors, it was awesome). Also had views of sunrise. Fam spent many hours on the lanai taking in the amazing views. Beach was a short walk away for the days we wanted to get our feet in the sand and a feel for the amazing Pacific; other days we lounged in the pool at the house! Easy drive to shops and grocery store.
House was immaculate, absolutely beautiful interior; had everything we needed. We cooked in mostly, and the kitchen was one a chef would love!
Property management company was great to work with.
Mahalo for sharing this home with us, we'll be back!

We absolutely loved this beautiful beach house! It was the perfect location for our family vacation. The house had great amenities and the lanai was our favorite for enjoying our morning coffee or evening family time. We hope yo come back again some day soon!

The house was great in all the right ways. The location was perfect - watching the sunsets to access to beaches. The beaches were only a few minutes walk from the house. The water in front of the house was teaming with sea turtles and they were fun to watch. There were great shops and restaurants in walking distance and only a few minutes drive from the house. The house itself was perfect. We had so much room to spread out (there were 8 of us) and we never felt on top of one another. The kitchen was perfect for cooking big meals and the beds were extraordinarily comfortable (and I am a big mattress diva). The pool was so nice to have to ourselves and a great place to cool off. The house had a ton of beach supplies, from coolers and umbrellas to water shoes and swim fins. It had more supplies than we needed. The ONLY exception was the number of beach towels. It was an expensive house, but very well worth every single penny.

We absolutely loved this house and especially the huge front porch with views out to the ocean! The house is equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. This was a family reunion with our kids and grandkids for a total of 10 people and the house easily absorbed everyone. Great kitchen! The pool was small but just fine, however, you get access to the Kauai Brach Club and a big pool there. It’s possible to walk to restaurants and the wonderful beaches nearby.

We had a wonderful time, the house was beautiful. Perfect layout we loved spending time on the veranda. The property provided beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, lots of beach toys which was another bonus.

DEPOSITS: A security damage deposit is required to confirm all reservations. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent and is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:
-No damage or loss to the unit or its contents, or to the grounds or common areas of condo complexes.
-All debris and rubbish are placed in the appropriate receptacles for weekly, early morning trash pick-up. Trash pick-up day is noted in the unit.
-Upon departure, the key is returned to the lock-box, the extra key is left on the kitchen counter, and the door is locked.
-No excessive cleaning is required to the unit, the grounds, or common areas of condominium complexes.
-All unpaid rent or charges are paid in full prior to departure.
-Smoking and pets are not allowed. Violation will result in detoxification expenses.
-Interest on security deposit is retained by Poipu365.
RENT: Payment in full is due 60 days prior to arrival and 90 days prior to arrival during the holiday season from December 15th to January 3rd and for stays of 4 weeks or longer. If payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation. Rent must be paid in U.S. funds and are subject to state of Hawaii taxes, 4.712% General Excise Tax, 3% County tax, and 10.25% Transient Accommodation Tax, *$50 Booking Damage Waiver Protection, and a Poipu Beach Athletic Club Membership at $20/Night plus tax.
*Booking Damage Waiver Protection fee is a prepaid non-refundable fee
included in a rental total price that covers accidental damages up to $3500.00.
CHECK-IN TIME: 4:00 PM
CHECK-OUT TIME: 10:00 AM
LATE CHECK-OUTS: A late check-out is subject to availability at a half of the daily rate + tax, provided check-out is prior to 6:00PM; a full day rate + tax is charged for check-out after 6:00PM. All late check-outs must be arranged at least 72 hours in advance. Unscheduled late departures result in an additional charge equal to one-night rate plus tax.
POIPU BEACH ATHLETIC CLUB: Reservations include Poipu Beach Athletic Club membership at $20/night.
CANCELLATION POLICY: To obtain a full refund cancellation must be made more than 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellation with less than 30 days notice results in forfeiture of the service fee and 50% of the room/tax/fees.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Poipu365 highly recommends that all travelers purchase travel insurance within 24 hours of your prepaid expenses to protect you against unexpected circumstances. Generali Global Travel Insurance may include coverage for losses due to sickness from COVID-19 for you or a family member. Be sure to read the travel insurance policy coverage for details.
OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of guests is limited to the number described in the reservation. Notification of additional guest occupancy must be approved by Poipu365, or risk eviction and/or termination of the rental. Poipu365’s homes are strictly family vacation homes. Weddings, receptions, baby luau’s, graduation parties, and other functions other than family vacations are restricted
HOUSEKEEPING: Professional housekeepers clean, sanitize and disinfect the property prior to arrival and after departure. Out-clean fees are collected and vary with the size of the unit. There is no daily housekeeping service
included although service is available at an additional charge. Mid-stay cleaning is necessary for all bookings more than 20 plus nights.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS: Poipu365 properties are fully furnished and equipped. Prior to guest arrival, every effort is made to ensure that all equipment is in proper working order. In the event of a breakdown, Poipu365 will immediately contact repair personnel as soon as possible after being notified of a problem. There is no guarantee that spas, air conditioners, televisions, appliances, high speed, wireless internet access, etc. will not break during your stay and therefore no refunds or adjustments will be made for mechanical failure. There will also be no refunds or adjustments made for any other unexpected situation beyond Poipu 365’s control such as insects, rodents, roosters, frogs, weather, etc.
LOST KEY OR LOCK OUT: There will be a $100 charge for lock out’s and/or lost keys and pool fobs.
SECURITY: Guests are responsible for the unit and its contents, as well as for their personal property. While Poipu is a safe vacation destination, please remember to lock all doors and windows when not in residence and Poipu365 urges that they remain locked whenever possible. Lock your automobiles and put away all rental equipment.
